MSHS Music Boosters Scholarship Application Form

The Maine South Music Booster funds a number of private lesson scholarships for students where cost may be prohibitive to pursuing private study. Scholarships will be awarded up to 50% of eligible lesson cost. All Maine South students enrolled in a Fine Arts music class are eligible to apply for a scholarship.
Scholarship applicants will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
a. Financial need.
b. Scholarships may be given to encourage students to transfer to another instrument to help round out the instrumentation of the band or orchestra (e.g. a violinist who agrees to transfer to viola, or a flute player that agrees to transfer to bassoon).
e. Students must adhere to the submission deadline. Late applications will not be considered.
